LAX Light Poster
The Lax Light Poster is a picture of me on the lacrosse field that will be on a 17 by 23-inch wood board. The picture was redrawn on procreate and notability because Inkscape would not take the picture. The redrawing was laser-cut and etched on the wood. I etched my body and cut my number and mouth so the LEDs could shine through. My last name is 3D printed, drawn with Sharpe with blue and black, and then superglued onto the wood at the bottom. On the back of the poster, four boxes are legs for the poster, and in the center, which is lower than halfway, is a fifth box where the Arduino is stored. The four boxes and the Arduino box are glued together, and for the Arduino box, I glued the Arduino inside it and drilled a hole in the box so the LEDs and wiring could go out of the box. 149 LEDs go around the legs of the poster and shine through my mouth and jersey number. The Arduino is a sound sensor that will activate when I yell or clap loudly. Hearing the sound, the LEDs will turn green, blue, red, and off.
